Anything at all in excess of one hundredºC is not really advisable. By the time it reaches 200ºC it is almost opaque at all wavelengths. If you want a high temperature window, you’re much better suited to follow a fabric like MgF2, YAG or our aged Close friend sapphire.The deviation in parallelism of these windows is fewer than 3 arc minutes.
